ive always been a subscriber to the "main character of an elder scrolls game isn't actually Doing All That" headcanon, especially bc my current dragonborn would NOT join the Dark Brotherhood but im doing the quest anyway, so I made a new character last night who would be doing the DB quest while Sayna is off doing Dragonborn shit.

Her name is Mya, she's a Breton, shes 22 but looks 15 and is 5 feet tall in heels. She was an indentured servant to a Thalmor agent but she finally snapped from the abuse and killed him and his entourage before setting the building on fire and running away. She flees to Windhelm hoping the large Stormcloak population will deter any Thalmor chasing after her, and she happens to meet Aventus

Excerpt from an in-progress DP x DC soulmate AU starring Jazz Fenton, a very unfortunate mugger, and a smoothie. Oh, and I guess Jason is there too.

Jazz meets her soulmate in, of all places, Park Row. Or as the locals call it, Crime Alley.

Seems about right for her life, she decides as she kicks the shit out of the guy who was trying to stab him for his wallet fifteen seconds ago. Her soulmate watches her curiously, seeming unconcerned by the fuss, and takes a sip of his smoothie.

Also seems about right, for her soulmate. A guy who got too nervous when necessary violence happened was not going to survive Thanksgiving in Amity Park, much less Christmas.

Well, it is Gotham.

"Hi," he says.

"Hi, sorry, one sec," Jazz says, then leans over the groaning mugger and offers him a card to the best local crisis center she's managed to track down via research and word of mouth in the four months she's been in Gotham. Not her card, obviously, since she just roundhouse-kicked the guy in the head to protect her soulmate from him and that's arguably a conflict of interest. Or close enough, anyway. "So you should check these guys out, they've got a very high success rate in their job program and there's an associated food bank and rent assistance, if you qualify."

"What?" the mugger says dazedly.

"Also if you ever touch my soulmate again I'll make you wish for the cold mercy of the Infinite Realms," Jazz adds pleasantly. The guy goes very, very pale. Then he snatches the card from her and runs for his life and eternal soul.

"This is the nicest thing the universe has ever done to me," her soulmate muses, taking another sip of his smoothie.

"Getting you mugged?" Jazz asks wryly, raising an eyebrow at him.

"Are you religious? Do you want kids?" her soulmate asks. "Also, who's your favorite Bat?"

"Robin, obviously," Jazz says. "The overdramatic and feral little stabby one, I mean. He reminds me of my little brother. Makes me feel a little bit maternal, to be honest. So that answers two out of three, and as far as religion goes, I only believe in Psychology Today, highly customized guns, and my mom's ninth-degree black belt."

"This better not awaken anything in me," her soulmate mutters under his breath.

"That seems unlikely, or we wouldn't be soulmates," Jazz says.

"Point," he says, sipping his smoothie again. Jazz didn't even know anywhere in Crime Alley sold smoothies, but she is new around here. "Wanna go break my bed? Or maybe go get coffee?"

"You've already got a smoothie," Jazz says.

"So I do," he says.

Jazz looks him over. He's her soulmate, so she's not surprised to find him gorgeous. She wasn't ever expecting a familial soulmate–Danny is a very intense sibling to have, and her parents are very intense parents to have, not to mention everything about Dani, and "soulcousins" aren't typically a thing–and she's never been especially interested in keeping around too many close friends, so considering all that, she was already expecting her soulmate to be a romantic one. If they are platonic, it's definitely only going to be because her soulmate is an aromantic asexual. Which he probably isn't, since he already asked about kids and religion and if she wanted to go break his bed.

Then again, she's met people who'll posture worse than that. Especially guys, and especially ace ones with a clear investment in their masculinity, and given this particular guy is built like a brick house could only dream to be, chances are he has some feelings about his masculinity. Though he's also drinking a visibly pink smoothie, not a neutral-colored protein shake or generic black coffee, so . . . fifty-fifty there, maybe?

Further inquiry will probably be required.

"I'm Jazz," she tells him. "What's your name?"

"Robin," he says. Then he–pauses. Blinks. "I mean–Robin."

He looks very confused for a second, and Jazz blinks too, and refocuses her eyes a bit. Oh, is he–

"Are you overshadowing that guy?" she assumes. For the love of–of course her soulmate would be a ghost, she thinks dryly. Who'd want a soulmate their mom and dad wouldn't want to grill for information and ask a thousand invasive questions, after all? "I mean, he's really hot, don't get me wrong, he looks good on you, but I'd rather meet you for real."

"'Overshadowing'?" Robin looks bemused.

"I'm Danny's sister," Jazz clarifies. Robin does not look less bemused. "You know, the new king?"

"What?" Robin says. Jazz frowns a little, feeling a bit bemused herself.

"Do you not get out much?" she asks.

"Never, actually, but also yes and constantly and way too often," Robin says. "My job is kind of demanding that way."

"What's your job?" Jazz asks curiously. Ghosts' jobs are always interesting, even if only for how they interact and manifest with their Obsessions. She wonders what his Obsession is, actually, because smoothies seem like an unlikely option but she doesn't have much else to go on here.

Can't be weirder than Box Ghost, either way.

"I'm a Bat," Robin says, then looks absolutely alarmed and also absolutely horrified.

"Huh," Jazz says, tilting her head. He seems really big to be one of the Robins, and a little too old besides. A year or two younger than her, maybe, and even the older Robin she's pretty sure is at best Danny's age. Though that's assuming this body is the one he fights crime in, admittedly. Although it's kinda funny if one of the Bats is just named Robin. Must get annoying on patrol, though. "I didn't know any of you were dead, but I guess that's not actually a surprise either, given the profession."

"Why did I say that to you?" Robin asks tightly.

"I told you, I'm the new king's sister," Jazz says. "You know, it's the royal family thing. Technically I'm his regent, legally speaking, but only because I'm better at paperwork and he doesn't count as a legal adult in the Infinite Realms yet. Hasn't been dead long enough, you know how it is. But I've been alive long enough to, apparently? But his 'being alive' technically stopped tracking at fourteen. It's complicated, basically."

"What the fuck does that mean?!" Robin demands.

"It means you can't lie to me because you're one of my brother's subjects," Jazz says, really not understanding his reaction. Every ghost knows this, after all. The only ones who wouldn't know it are too young to be away from their guardians' haunts or even leave the Infinite Realms at all. Definitely a ghost who knows how to overshadow someone this thoroughly and fully is old enough and experienced enough to know it, though. "Whose body is that, anyway?"

"It's my father's," Robin says. Jazz's eyes widen a little and she has several very concerned internal reactions before he chokes and sputters–"I mean–it's not–he's not–!"

"You realize there is no healthy way to mean that, right?" Jazz says. Robin looks frustrated and freaked out and she feels bad about it, because she didn't mean or want to upset him, but she clearly has. "Sorry. I mean, I still secretly feel like I'm the one parenting my parents half the time, you're not the only one with weird feelings about yours."

"I'm his," Robin says, then grits his teeth in visible pain. He's this close to crushing the smoothie cup he's holding but hasn't actually done it. Jazz wonders if that's an example of deliberate self-control or subconscious restraint.

She's pretty sure Robin didn't mean to say that, though.

"Are you okay?" she asks, a little concerned. Normally ghosts just stop talking about things they want to lie about, when they realize who she is.

"No," Robin says. "I'm just his. I've always been his, I always will be, his good soldier, his worst mistake, not his actual fucking son, why am I telling you this?!"

"I don't know," Jazz says, frowning in increased concern. "Usually people can work around the inability to lie a little bit, but you sound like you're being compelled to speak. Increasingly like, actually. Hm. What's your Obsession? And what kind of core do you have?"

"What?" he says.

"They might be making you unstable, is all," Jazz says. "I don't think it'd be a soulmate thing but to be fair I don't really know how that works. Are you dead, or are you a manifestation of something?"

"I'm dead," Robin says, staring at her. "That bastard clown beat my head in with a crowbar and blew up what was left of me. I woke up in my grave and–I–how did you know that?"

"Well, I didn't, that's why I asked," Jazz says reasonably, idly wondering why the Joker isn't dead yet, since this is Gotham and obviously it wouldn't be another "bastard clown" Robin was referencing, even if he wasn't a Bat. But like, at least dead via the court system, if nothing else. The Joker is insane, yes, but no one can argue he doesn't know right from wrong at this point. Does New Jersey just not have the death penalty, maybe? She hasn't thought to check. "Maybe it's the guy you're in? He's not drunk or high or anything, is he?"

"I hate drugs," Robin says, gritting his teeth again; tightening his grip on the smoothie again. He's trembling, just barely. "I hate them. I'd never touch them. I don't know what you are. You're scaring me. Please stop."

He definitely didn't mean to say that, Jazz can tell.

But . . . he doesn't know what she is.

He doesn't know.

Well, that's a problem.

"Robin," she says gently, and for some reason his face twists painfully at the sound of his own name. "Can I see your core? Please?"

Ra forces Talia to sacrifice her son to the ghost king. With his obvious re-awakening he most solidify the deal. It’s how he was gifted the Lazarus water in the first place.

Newley crowned 15 year old Danny did not want this child. Like at all. He’s already dealing with parents who want to tear him apart. That reveal didn’t go well at all.

Danny couldn’t take care of himself let alone a stabby 6 year old. The only good thing is he snatched the kid before he was killed by his scary mom and stinky grandfather.

By ancient law. This child belonged to him. Not only that, the child was bound to obey him. Found that part out on accident. He was tired of the murder attempts and promptly told him to knock that off be quiet and sit down. He’s ashamed to admit it took him at least two hours to realize Damian couldn’t talk or stand up.

Yea.

He’s taken to internal dialogue after that little hiccup. He later learned sign language had no effect. Apparently it had to be verbal. It’s not his say to order anyone around. He doesn’t care what the crown means. They were fine without pariah they’ll be fine without him.

At least while he’s still half alive. Despite what the council says he doesn’t need a legal guardian. He’s perfectly fine homeless.

So here he was with 9 year old child and on the run from the government, his parents, and the royal council.

Now when a man in a trench coat tries to expel the ecto-ghost to free the “boy” and the child. Well. He asked for help.

This leads to a dna test. Danny ignored how he had been told Batman by Damian it was of no help. Danny hadn’t even meant to ask, knowing Damian would be forced to answer. His mother must of lied to the poor thing.

With a shocking result, the father was Bruce Wayne. Bruce Wayne can reclaim his son, but Danny can’t simply hand him over. Something of equal or greater value has to be exchanged.

Obviously Bruce Wayne is happy to make a deal.

Danny just goes. Well either i need a legal guardian as the ghosts are on my butt about it and my parents want me dead. Or. A government organization taken down for trying to eradicate his species.

He gets both.

Damian and Danny refuse to tell anyone why Damian was sacrificed to him.

I had a very cursed thought and I'm choosing violence and making it Tumblr's problem:

Bruce had his thing with Talia. It led to the Stabby Child that is Damian.

Except, Damian has 2 dads.

Bruce, biologically his Father, and Daniel James Phantom, brought to their world by the Lazarus Pit, who "convinced Ras to retire" (aka turned his mind to mush through Eldritch Madness of Revelation). Talia took over, and, thinking herself The Chosen One, allowed the guy to court her.

In fact she isn't some Chosen One. She's a badass woman who could kill Danny easily, and he's very into that. And it's not helping that she's very attractive, and her kid is very feral and like to fight, like baby ghosts also like to do.

Eventually the Bats get wind that there's been a Change in Management in the League, and they come to investigate. Bruce expects the worst, Tim is just praying Ras is dead and he can get his spleen back, Jason is mildly disturbed that it might mean Talia is leading the Assassins, and Dick is keeping Gotham safe while the others are out.

They expect a cruel dictatorship, or a mound of corpses piles in a corner.

They did NOT expect to see a tiny Damian fight a guy dressed in League armor, a Cape and a crown of black iron, who could've been Wayne Adoption Bait if he was younger, while the guy laughs and corrects his form. Every blow the child is allowed to land simply passes through him.

Talia got herself a very comfy throne (Danny gifted it to her, saying some cheesy line like "no other would be fit for a Queen like you") made of Starlight and Ice, from which she can watch her on and her Beloved bond and train, while her new and improved League watch on as their Prince takes joy in his training and the pride his parents have in him. Soon he shall move to Gotham to meet his other dad, and learn from him as well, so he may know his family and make his destiny as he wishes.

TLDR: Danny is a simp for strong deadly lady and a good dad to her kid. She's indulging in his attention and caring. The bats are confused. Jason can feel the Ghost Adoption that will be coming his way when Danny "Ghost King" Phantom learns of his existence. The League of Assassins, even while they kill people to maintain Wolrd Order, treat Talia, Danny and Damian like the spies in SpyxFamily act towards Loid and Anya :)

I go a little feral for Jason viewing Talia as his mom so I am 100% behind Danny adopting Jason. Maybe Tim follows him after learning what Danny did to Ras and let's him have his spleen back, tho only on the condition that his own doctors put it back in. Who knows what Ras has done to it and with ecto involved its better to be safe than sorry. Tim is amazed that they can put the spleen back in at all due to how long its been outside his body.

Is this going to turn Poly with Bruce/Talia/Danny? Cause I'd read that!

How Protective Terrans Are

So... I might've dropped a few trauma bomb in my previous entries... but we won't further open those particular can of worms *smiles brightly while throwing the proverbial can at the traum-- ehem, garbage disposal*.

Anyways, this is my 5th entry to Humans Are Space Orcs! For today's human documentary, we're going to talk about what adult Terrans can and will do to you if you touch their young, family, close friends, pets, or special mementos given to them by a special someone (which doesn't have to be from a dead anybody or a romantic somebody). We all know people wouldn't hesitate to throw hands just to keep their people or stuff safe.

So, let's refer to my list, cuz it's easier to do lol. Again, I've used movies, series, podcasts, and a writer's angst-filled mind to type this. Should I warn the rest of you for further reading? I guess I should (I was so used to reading things without the warning that I'm sometimes confused of the TW tag on some stuff lol).

TW: Gore, violence, theoretical bodily harm even though I censored most of it, death, stabby people, bullying, the insanity train.

Kill the threat. Bit of an extreme one for the first thing to pop in my head, yes? But it is true. Wars were waged for lesser things. See this news article for one example: "Mom fatally shot home intruder to defend kids, she says". This one was published on August 18, 2022. In 2012, cuz I'm too lazy to search recent ones, there's another news articles featuring the same thing but focuses on a mother shooting an intruder to protect her 3-month-old baby. In 2015, an 11-year-old boy also shot an intruder trying to defend his 4-year-old sister from possible harm. I could go on and on about this but in countries where guns are not accessible, the next possible thing to use in defense would've been something sturdy and blunt or something extremely sharp. Actually, if we were in a time wherein tribes or kingdoms exist instead of cities, I can surely say that killing their young would definitely put you and your family in said people's sh*t list.

Fight the threat. Whether is be physically punching them on the face of the place where the sun doesn't shine, nobody cares as long as the deed of letting them know their place is done. Exhibit A that a lot of us know would be bullies ganging up on a younger sibling in school. We know that younger sibling are the proverbial pain in the *ss of older siblings. It's a love-hate relationship between them. But it's also an unsaid rule that only the older siblings can threaten or push around younger siblings. Anyone else touching them aside from the close family ties should be prepared to taste someone's fist. Or feet. Or the pavement. You get the gist of it. Though as long as the child in question can take care of the bullying on their own (which I did in my experience) then the parents or older sibling would gladly back off until the time they notice that things are going too far. Though, sadly, some kids prefer not to talk about their problems which leads to behavioral issues in the future, sorta trying to get attention from their elders but in a negative way.

Threaten the threat. I see this as the tamer version of protection actually lol. I don't know about other countries but in my country, the smart kids in school can threaten your life as a student. We have the usual bling-bling kids with the money and huzzah but they don't last long in the face of being a social pariah at school. They can throw money all they want but the smart kids wouldn't be threatened at all cuz they hold the key to higher GPA. Even the teachers complain about them nerds but action speaks loud and their compilation of evidence speaks louder lol. You'd be lucky if the nerd assigned to you has the patience of a saint cuz if not... well, I've had to stop fights from breaking out from simple arguments. Not just in school though. If you've got connection in higher places then that could also be a way to threaten someone (it does happen in real life so it isn't far-fetched). Though it is more effective to threaten the threat if you're in the same place as them. Another thing would be holding blackmail on said person (though that only works if they're not an immediate threat). If you have enough social influence, well, you can destroy their entire life without touching them even once.

Torture the threat. A friend says I'm too kind for ending their lives easily. Well, watching too many action and horror films prepared me for this part lol. I don't know which one would be done but interrogators have done the worst to get information from their victim. Too gory for this though and I don't know how many kids or emotional teens are in here so I have to censor a ton of the juicy details. Let's say it would be a bit similar to Saw, Jigsaw, and war interrogations. Chemicals, acids, peeled skin, salt, knives, and hammers might also be in place. Just know that it would be a bloody, unforgiving event that would take place in that particular room with that unfortunate victim.

Play the long game. Another said killing them quickly was... well... too quick XD. This one centers heavily on having money and patience. Know who the threat is, where they live, who they interact with, and what makes them tick. For this to work, you need to give up who you were before and settle on anonymity. This is... a bit more drastic than torture but works well if you have too much hate in your chest or the deed done was something you can never forgive. It's more on watching them physically suffer with their injury or doing the threatening on their family (gets messy very fast), but since this threat had amassed A LOT of enemies, they won't exactly know who did the evil deed on them. Shoot them on their legs, feet, and shoulder. Their spine if you're a good shot and know where to hit. Places that aren't close to their vital organs but would render them disabled. You'll let them live, but it will be a life of pain and agony.

Talk to the threat. The most peaceful type and probably the most boring out of this chaotic list > v <. This should be the first thing we do and not escalate to violence if some of us can help it. Again, your patience and wit will be tested here. If your threat is minor (like another child), then talking to their guardian would help with keeping the problem from going through a rollercoaster ride. Sometimes that doesn't work and the problem turns into an adult fight.

In summary, you have 2 kinds of Terrans. One would shoot before asking; the other would talk before shooting. Which is why you should never step on this particular deathworld if you were thinking about making Terran slaves or using our young in experimentation. We haven't given chase on aliens yet. Don't make yourselves the first intergalactic specie the Terrans would obliterate.

Okay imagine this - a JJK and Spy X Family crossover.

So where's everybody at? How does this work? I'll break down my idea by charecter(s).

Loid Forger / Nanami Kento

The two are twins, their father is a Jujutsu Sorcerer from Japan and their mother is a Westallis citizen.

The boys parents split when they were around 3 and their mom went back to Westallis. They visited her during the summer and she'd fly to Japan for their birthday/holidays.

As kids they both developed Curse Techniques- we know Nanami's already but Loid's is called Twilight (which is how he got his WISE codename). Loid's Cursed Technique allows him to create illusions and cursed tools with his cursed energy.. He uses it to create disguises when doing spy missions and the cursed tools are often guns or blades that are very effective against curses. Unlike Nanami he's never pulled off a Black Flash but he does have a domain expansion called The Spy's Midnight Gambit - his domain takes the form of any location he wants and will move or change as he pleases. Due to the shifting environment his opponents often become disoriented and are made easier targets for the man they never seem to be able to get a good look at controlling the space.

Both Nanami and Loid went to Jujutsu Tech in Tokyo - while there Loid jumped up to Grade 1 due to his efficiency and skill. Nanami took a few years to get to grade 1 but he and Loid never let the power gap get between them. After graduating Nanami left the world of Jujutsu, tired of the constant death. Loid stayed to try and make a better world where there were no Curses around to male children cry.

When war broke out between Westallis and Ostania a few months after Loid's graduation he left Japan to fight for his mother's country that he considered a second home. He was a strong and smart soldier, occasionally running espionage missions into Ostanian territory to collect new information. During the war he and Nanami communicated regularly through letters and the rare phone call.

After the war Loid I is approached by WISE - who were impressed with his skills and intelligence. WISE is also aware of the Jujutsu World and has Sorcerers in their ranks - meaning Loid won't be considered a Curse User if he uses his technique while working for WISE as one of their top spies.

Yor Briar Forger / Yuri Briar

Yor and Yuri were orphaned as children - Yor as a young teen having to step up to raise her brother. Both were children of Ostanian Jujutsu Sorcerers who died taking on a special grade.

Yor has no Cursed Technique - instead she has a Heavenly Restriction that makes her incredibly strong, fast and durable, much like Maki and Toji. Her Cursed Energy amount is low but not 0 - the golden Stabby things she uses are Cursed Tools that she can use to kill a curse. They can kill a Curse on their own but if she coats them in her Cursed Energy and stabs a Curse the monster will die as a thorny rose bush will sprout out of them, killing them from the inside. Thus Yor's assassin code name - Thorn Princess.

Yuri meanwhile has a Curse Technique called Thread Bare. The Technique allows him to create strings of Cursed Energy from any point on his body and control them. He can make these threads sharp to cut or slice things, harden them and wrap them around himself to make body armor or use them to tie people up in various traps. His Technique also has a second feature that allows him to drain Cursed Energy from anyone his strings are wrapped around - this includes non-Sorceres just bleeding their Cursed Energy out.

Yor took up assassin work for Garden to provide for Yuri - her Heavenly Restriction making her immediately very good at her job.

If I had the Siblings Sorcerer Ranks I'd say their both Grade 1 - Yor for her incredible power and ruthlessness and Yuri for his advanced skill and battle IQ.

Anya Forger / Bond

Anya is a Sorcerer born with a Curse Technique unique to her - Mind Reading.

Her suffering as a child caused her to manifest a very unique Cursed Spirit, a tame dog shaped Spirit named Bond. Ranked as a Grade 1 because of his future sight.

Operation Strix

For Opperation Strix Loid needed a family. The orphan he chose was Anya - he could sense her Sorcerer Status and immediately decided she'd be a good fit. Upon first meeting her Cursed Dog Bond his first instinct was to Exercise him but when he saw how tame and nice the Curse truly was and how much Anya cared for it he decided not too.

Choosing Yor as a wife also proved to be a good choice - he liked her company and she was good with Anya and Bond. Her Sorcerer status was a bit harder to tell for Loid from the start because of her Heavenly Restriction but he figured it out after a couple days and they actually talked about being Sorcerers, how their abilities worked and their level of training. (Yor and Yuri are both self taught)

Anya's friend Becky and her rival/love interest Daimen are both Non-Sorceres.

Getting Anya into Eden went smoothly - the first 2 seasons of Spy X Family go relatively the same. However things between Loid and Yuri are a bit less tense because of their shared Jujutsu Sorcerer Status and Loid has a few phone calls with Nanami, updating his brother on certain things without compromising the safety of Opperation Strix.

However things sprial out of control rather fast after that, identities and secrets are revealed and Ostania and Westallis go to war again far faster then WISE had been anticipating. Strix was a failure but the Forgers still stayed together. Despite the secrets they loved each other and would get through the chaos together.

The second war between countries was proving to be even more brutal then the last and it was worrying. Children from Eden were taken to safe countries away from the fighting by WISE agents - Fiona Frost (Nightfall) ended up with Becky, Damien and his older brother Demitrius in The UK. Meanwhile Loid took his family and Yuri back to Japan.

They met up with Nanami and re-joined the Jujutsu world just after the events of Jujutsu Kisen 0. Loid, Yor and Yuri took up jobs as Jujutsu Sorcerers and teachers at the school, often taking Anya and Bond with them to learn and be in a mostly safe/curse free location. Maki took an immediate liking to Yor - the two training together often and becoming a kind of mother daughter duo. Anya meanwhile looked up to the students, seeing all of them as amazing and older sibling figures. The students took to Anya in turn, doting on her and teaching her things. Megumi is Anya's favorite because of his shadow dogs, he'll summon them to hang out with her and Bond.

In the same building as the Forgers they have a young neighbor - Yuji Ittadori. He and Anya get along great and he's pretty much apart of the family by the start of JJK. Of course everything goes to hell when Yuji eats on of Sukana's fingers.

hey chat sorry for the month of inactivity. i was unmotivated to do anything with this blog

but then i looked at some of the art on here and realized that i just lost my love for the character designs. so you know how we're gonna fix that? we're redesigning some characters bayybeeee 😈

starting with the man the myth the legend, here is UNPLEZZIE 2.0

he's probably the only one i had genuine problems with other than not being very aesthetically pleasing. he seemed too boring, his proportions were always a bit wonky, and the way he became more and more simple the more i drew him dumbed him down to just...awkward.

for this redesign, i kept all the features that made him my unpleasant. the only really signature thing i changed was his hair, sorry not sorry he had to fire his barber. i changed his scars to be far less opaque as to not clutter him up (which was the main reason i left them out most of the time), the only drawback is that i'm no longer just scribbling them in with a brush, they're actual geometry, so i cut back on the arms just for my own sake. also his tail now looks (and acts) like an actual docked tail.

creepy was probably my least favorite character to draw. its head shape with the hair that always ends off screen, the 4 arms, the lack of any real way to move visible, it has always been a mess of a character. don't get me wrong, creepy is my second favorite character to write for (beaten only by neuro), i love its personality and its inflection, i just never got the chance to show that because i hated drawing it so much.

so for the redesign, i've basically reimagined it. its face hair now has an actual definitive ending, it has a more unique shape, and is just much more expunged-friendly in my opinion. it looks even more like its mom now...

next is this one, i thought she was american. here's PARANORMAL 2.0

i'm gonna be totally honest i have no idea what i was doing when designing para for the first time. that outfit was 100% subconsciously stolen from some other character i can't think of right now. it also really just didn't fit her character at all. also i dont know why i gave her boobs???? what????

anyways for the redesign she's basically a whole new design now. i wanted to play with some shape language. also, para always had a sort of inhuman quality to me, despite her personality, so i've given her inverted eyes and some animalistic features. i guess it adds irony or something, i dunno.

and finally, the moment GERIATRIC CAT you've all been waiting for, UNNERVING 2.0

in truth nervy's design is my favorite. the only gripe i had is the lack of legs, like with creepy. also i had to give her one of the same pride flag ass gradient as the rest so she'd fit in with the rest. other than all that i love her she is perfect just the way she is with minor adjustments

that's all the redesigns done!! i only did these 4 because stabby is not mine to redesign and NEURO is perfect just the way it is. feel free to give me any constructive criticism for these redesigns, i can always tweak em a bit. also the more stripy gradients wont a pattern that follows the contours of the body but rather just unmoving plaid always. i hope this lengthy yap sesh contributed something to something, maybe gave some insight into my characters.

A little S3 part 2 review! Spoilers under the cut.

- I quite enoyed it!! I had a lot of fun and I loved the last episode, they really turned it around there for me; I did have the feeling that at times the pacing was pretty off though? Maybe it was just me but for episode six Cahir coming around was pretty much without build up, some other things they lingered on, Riences and Tissias death was pretty fast, I felt a bit. Yanked around; like they didn't linger where I wanted them too but I saw a lot of shots of people running. Somewhere?? or Ciri eating Lizards 😂 (but I did watch it with my brother and he said it was his favourite episode because of the action, finally fight fight stabby stabby so I kind of see what they might have thought they needed to do there)

- Freya is getting better and better and Ciri really really grew on me as a character!! Her fight in the last episode, the build up of tension in the desert, that was g o o d. (Brother's comment: where are simon and pumba. I don't remember that scene from the lion king)

- JASKIER. MY LOVE. I love this season and it's an all time favourite because not only did he say 'he has to get back to his family' he was finally finally treated as such. By Geralt, by Yennefer, by Ciri (and included in the visions!!). Honestly that could have been my sole review because that is just the most important thing to me, what I always wanted from this show 😭 FOUND FAMILY. He finally has it 😭😭

- I know I called villainous Radovid (and. we might be getting there??) but his story is so much much more tragic that I ever thought it would be and I love it. I love the Radskier dynamic of Jaskier, of course not being able to stop to care, but also of Jaskier being distrustful and looking through him? GOD YES. THANK YOU.

- I thought Philippa would loose an eye or two but that might be Radovid once he finds out (that poor guy was desperate to get away, this is really tragic and. I dig it)

- uhhh Geralt?? Very good. LOVED his interaction with Jaskier, Milva and Yen this season. I still don't get how they want to pull of Liam?? There were a lot of, albeit silly, chances of them going 'oh it's the healing process' but they didn't? Which, hey. I HONESTLY prefer that they didn't do that. I said from the beginning simply switching them is by far less jarring. And it was a better send off for this season. I think they'll probably go some kind of 'deages because of the spell route'? The less they explain the better, probably 😅

- Yen was as gorgeous as ever. She is Ciris mom 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺

- I loved everything about Geralt and Jaskier in Brokilon. I gotta say it again because it's just so true. Had me!!! From the beginning. This is the dynamic I always wanted to see 🥺👉👈

Juno: The hunt, not only would he and Daisy Tonner get along like a house on fire IMO, but he spends the entire show *searching*, for people, for missing objects, for a place to belong? Could easily be twisted into something awful with the hunt

Jet: Hmmmmm Spiral? It feels weird, but The Fear of being lied to and manipulated feels like a great allegory for both his addiction and The Unnatural Disaster lurking just beneath his skin

Buddy: This was a thinker, but she's either an Elias core eye entity or part of The Web knows everything about what she's doing, who shes doing it with, and what could go wrong. Shes not afraid to fight her own battles which i think plants her into eye territory

Chevalier Romantic route rantings

Warning: This post contains spoilers about Chevalier Michel's route. More specifically his Romantic ending.

Sooooo, it is extremly rare for me to criticise Cheva's content. After all, as his absolute stan, i love everything this man does.

BUT i admit that I am not a fan of his romantic ending.

The reason is simple. But first of all a little summary of the events, for does who do not remember or for does who have not played the route but dont mind spoilers.

MC is with everyone at the battlefield. The campement where she is, is attacked and this is when the two ending branches.

In this I will only discuss the romantic one.

So, in the romantic ending, MC gets stabbed by a poisoned knife by the anti war faction and obsidian. They use her as a hostage and says 'if you want the antidote you gotta hand her off'. But Genius Cheva figures out the poison and have the antidote made badabim badaboum.

(Honestly I would have prefered it here if Clavis was the one who found the antidote, and Cheva being impressed by his brother's abilities, after all Clavis was the one who has been studying poisons. But this is not what this post is about so let's no dwell on that)

So MC is cured, Cheva goes to beat the anti war faction with his FIST, because MC says no Stabby stabby. And he somehow makes Obsidian sign a peace treaty and VOILA, war is over.

(Yes, the political plot of this game is extremely stupid, DO NOT start me on that, or this post will never end)

Soooo, MC and Cheva goes back to the castle, where MC is healing. Chevalier stays by her side most of the time as they spend quality time together. And before they know it, there only very few days left before MC has to choose a king, leave the castle and never see cheva again.

So MC asks Chevalier for one last favor, she wants him to dance with her. He accepts and they head to the ballroom where they have a very impactfull moment where MC tells him she is gonna choose HIM as a king and she tells him her reasons which leaves him speechless and i would say touched.

After that there dance ends, and MC start acting like Booboo the clown as she starts rambling, she tells cheva they should have a meal together sometimes before she leaves and turn away from him to hide her tears.

As of now, everything is fine. I have no objections to this developpement. But this is where it ticks me off.

Cheva hug MC from behind and literally ask her TO SLEEP WITH HIM!

Yes yes, he says dinner but he says he is famished and his hand touch mc's body subjectivly.

MC might be as dense as the mariana trench but she's not stupid and she agrees to the hanky panky.

And BIM BADABOUM they smash, in the trill of the action, mc asks him if he will remember her and he says NO which is obviously a lie. And that's literally it. They separate for a year and you guys know the rest.

Now you might ask, what do you not like about this, Yuki?

And i would say many things:

First, HOW DARE HE ASKS HER FOR HER FIRST TIME JUST LIKE THAT, MY CHEVA WOULD NEVER WTF. Remember everyone, this is not 21st century, it's literally around 1500 and around then a woman virginity was EVERYTHING to her. I was like well maybe the ikepri author created the ikepri universe differently and its not a big deal but silvio's romantic ending proved otherwise. I'm not gonna go into the details, i'll just say a woman first time is IMPORTANT. And Cheva most likely knew that. He would never ask her for it in such a way. Specially knowing he could not be her lover. It was one night only between them.

Also it is very irrational and the way cheva asked for it seemed calculated which i hate. I mean, there are no contraception during that era. Surely both knew what could happen after that night.

Then there is how that first time was written. It was only a few sentences and during the whole act MC was crying and all while Cheva was all smug saying 'You like that, don't you?'. I would have liked it if he showed some vulnerability in that moment. And don't tell me 'This is cheva we are talking about, he is not capable of doing that', he actually did in the dramatic ending.

This was supposed to be such an angsty dramatic scene, if only they gave it more attention it would have gave his route more dept and made the ending all the more satisfying.

THIS is how I think things should have happened:

-After the dance, MC still acts the same and says they should have a meal together.

-Chevalier agrees and says then let's have dinner together.

-MC accepts and they have dinner in his room. MC is nervous since this is her first time alone with him in her room since he knows of her feelings and it makes her hyperaware of him. Specially that whenever she look up at him she sees he is already staring at her. Like he wants to commit her to his memory.

-Cheva sees that and starts talking about a new book to calm her down.It works and soon enough they are sitting together on his bed and reading the book together in silence.

-Chevalier's reading speed is higher than hers and whenever he is done he just stares at her as he waits for her to finish the page.

-MC finish a page and look up toward Chevalier to see if he's done with it, but when she does he is already looking at her and there eyes meet.

-They stare at each others soul for a very long time in silence before they kiss, none of them knowing who made the first move.

-The kiss soon turn into a full makeout session on Chevalier's bed and the book fall to the floor in a tud.

-This bring Chevalier to his senses, it is not like him to act so irrationnaly.

-He pulls away from MC, but she pulls him back and that was all he needed for his logical facade to snap.

-They make love and as MC cry her heart out she sees that Cheva's usual ice cold expression is nowhere to be seen.

-His walls are completely gone and at that moment she has the REAL Chevalier in front of her.

She says she loves him but he does not answer her back. He knows that if he says it, it's gonna make even more difficult for her, so he just hugs her to him instead.

And that's how it ends.

Damian is a kid who was raised as an assassin and because of that when he first appears he has some really messed up ideas of how to prove himself to his father by being aggressive with the criminals they capture and attacking his brother. Because of this people act like he is the most evil character ever and refuse to give him any grace. They make him out to be this awful irredeemable monster who just wants to kill his brother and hurt people. If the fandom isn’t making his out to be The Worst(tm) then they are ignoring his existence all-together. He is a really interesting character who has done some not so great things but he’s grown and learned a lot through various character arcs (as much of an arc as a comic book character can have) and he deserves to be acknowledged for himself and not just as a villain so that people can woobify his brother.

Also he is constantly getting slandered in ship wars because of the way he interacts with Katara in canon because he is often selfish with her and obviously that makes him such a horrible guy! (No he is just a kid who is stumbling through his relationships like all of us do.) Everything he does makes perfect sense considering his age and circumstances and I’m tired of people saying he should have done things differently. God forbid a traumatized child not act like a perfect reasonable angel with the mental capacity and communication skills of an adult.

✨Orchid Stingwing Kill Team Update✨

I got myself to do the thing! Well, another step of the thing. After a brief break to let my finger heal from a rather frightening hobby-knife accident, and then a nice little dip into a short depressive episode, I have emerged from my battle with the Furies in the Mirror victorious and actually made some progress! (This is a pretty big deal for me - my therapist is gonna be so pleased😊 Who abandons her hobbies when they get tough now, huh MOM?) Anyway, step-by-step details and pics below the cut. 💜

First off, a slight change to the base coat. I actually want the thorax a little greener to go with some of our later details, so I'll mix two (2) parts Ionrach Skin, one (1) part Wraithbone, and one (1) part White Scar to nudge the hue ever-so-slightly. I don't know how well you can make it out in the photos, but it's noticeable on the workbench. (Left: Wraithbone spray - Right: 2:1:1 Ionrach/Wraithbone/White Scar)

Next, the star of the show: the magenta carapace. Remember that we were aiming to have it fade from the ends of the limbs towards the thorax, so I'll thin one (1) part Doomfire Magenta with three (3) parts Contrast Medium to hopefully keep it under control.

That did not go how I hoped. Let's see if I can clean some of that up.

There we go. I used too little paint at first and got a drybrush effect, but actually I think it came out really well. Still heavier on the magenta than I want for this model, but I'll just call this one the senior Warrior. (This is precisely why we didn't jump straight to our specialists 😅) Tobi reminds you that it's important to take breaks.

Now then, some details. If we refer back to my inspiration post, we've got some green details at the edges of the lighter parts of the exoskeleton. This is where our adjusted base coat comes in, and my first attempt at glazing. For this, I'll mix together one (1) part Moot Green and four (4) parts Lahmian Medium to get it to almost the translucency of jelly, then highlight the ridges on the back with three or four layers, staying closer to the center with each layer to fade into our base coat at the ends. Trust me, this detail is really gonna pay off on our specialists.

Next, antennas... antennae? Whichever. I am most proud of this bit; it came out really well even though by the end I was just winging it. 😄 I started with a mix of one (1) part Wazdakka Red and three (3) parts Lahmian Medium. Unsatisfied with the Wazdakka next to the Doomfire, I added just a touch of Barak-Nar Burgandy and went over the antenn... wiggly-head-parts again. It needed just a bit more burgandy - but then I realized I was onto something. I did three more layers, closer to the ends each time, each with a bit more burgandy. Truly an inspired moment I will never be able to intentionally replicate. 😅

Okay, I'mma just add a little edge highlighting to the chest to give it a bit more definition (using our 2:1:1 Ionrach/Wraithbone/White Scar mix)...

That's better. And how about some Druchii Violet shade to add definition to the feet and the underside of the abdomen...

Very nice. And now to round things out, Black Templar for all the stabby bits.

And that is enough for today. About three or four hours of work, but a non-insignificant amount of that time was spent just convincing myself to do just a little bit more. That's a pretty good day for me. I'll revisit this model tomorrow and see if I'm still happy with it; if so, next step is to replicate it on the other three Warriors.

Tsunami of The Sea Kingdom

Codename: Skull, which was thought up by Clay and Turtle

Arcana:The Chariot

Birthdate: 5005 AS on the Brightest Night

Persona: The Infamous Pirate Empress Ching Shih! it can also turn into the Ultimate form as The Wrathful Deity and King of the Sea, Poseidon!(as opposed to The infamous pirate Captain Kidd)

Backstory: Tsunami is the same brash Seawing that we know and love from the main universe, even with her different upbringing. Having been raised in the seawing palace alongside her brothers and sisters. She always felt like her mother under appreciated her, even if she tried to push that feeling down.

Things got worse however after Whirlpool was around more and assigned as her teacher. Whirlpool constantly pushed Tsunamis buttons and worked her to the bone in a clear attempt to set her off for reasons Tsunami didn’t quite get at the time, all she knew was she hated the guy for it. Whirlpool finally succeeded in pushing her over the edge when she was 6 and he made a comment about her father, who jaded recently died from mysterious circumstances, and she finally snapped and attacked him, and Coral rushed over to throw Tsunami off, which ended up dislocating her wing in the process. After that, Tsunami was completely done with her mother, and with some help from her older sister Orca, managed to get a place away from the royal palace.

Unfortunately for Tsunami, her ties with her mom weren’t able to end there, as Tsunami still had to attend the school where Coral and her family were a massive presence, as well as that rotten squidbrain Whirlpool. Tsunami thought she was simply in a new stage of hell, until by sheer chance she crossed paths with a certain Mudwing on her way to her first day of school

Physical Description:a difference between Tsunami and her main counterpart is she has a slightly less slim build compared to her main, and mildly “less elegant” in her build as her mother puts it. She also has a slight limp to her wing because of her mother, though thanks to Clay this becomes better over time. She used to wear strands of pearls but since the incident before she crushed them and turned them into little glitter on a jacket she wears.

Personality:Tsunami is largely the same personality wise to her main counterpart, with one difference being a more upfront sense of right and wrong, and also not liking her mother at all due to having the displeasure of growing up with her.

Goals:To change the hearts of all the shitty adults in charge all around Pyrrhia, and spread around the Phantom Thieves and make them grow. A more simple goal for her is to change the heart of her mother, even if Tsunami tries to deny that want.

Trivia

-Tsunami likes 2 members of her family, her younger sister anemone, and her big sister Orca, in particular with Orca because of how they’re both “disappointments”

-Tsunami thinks her mothers writings for the most part is awful, but there is one story she actually likes, “The Missing Prince”, which from what she recalls was written when an egg suddenly went missing from the hatchery, the reason she likes it is because she feels it’s the ONLY writing of Corals with any true weight behind it

-Tsunami considers Clay not only her best friend but the closest thing she has to real family

-Before her injury Tsunami was one of the best swimmers and flyers around, though she is slowly regaining that ability

-Tsunami is still tone deaf and can’t sing for crap, in fact she’s somehow WORSE, the only one who tolerates her singing is Clay, and even he usually needs a skill check on it

-As far as Tsunamis concerned, all she needs is a blunt weapon when in mementos, even when she uses a trident she uses it more like a hammer than anything(even though some of her allies point out a trident is “stabby stabby” not “bashey bashey”)
